|There's still time to nominate an outstanding volunteer for The Mayor's Volunteer Houston Awards by March 2, 2009! These awards honor individuals and groups who do remarkable volunteer work that make Houston a better place to live. Nominations are reviewed and honorees selected by a diverse community panel of judges. The awards will be presented by Mayor Bill White at a ceremony held in May 2009.
