Details: Larger than life bugs take over The Health Museum! See what you’ve been stepping on. Backyard Monsters is an exploration into the creepy, crawly world of insects. Featuring six giant animatronic insects up to 8 feet tall, visitors will encounter a tarantula, fight beetles, a wasp, caterpillar and a big, beautiful monarch butterfly. It’s an exhibit where you are the size of the bug and the bugs are enormous! Visitors will also experience insect specimens and education stations. Appropriate for all ages.
Tickets: Backyard Monsters is included in the general admission ticket to The Health Museum.
Adults $8, Children and Seniors $6. Ticket also includes all museum exhibits.
Hours: The Health Museum‘s hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday, and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, with extended hours until 7 p.m. on Thursday. Closed on Mondays.
