"Inclusion and Innovation in Challenging Times"
The Diversity Summit will be held on Friday, May 21 and bring together business, government, academic and community leaders to discuss how diversity plays an ever-increasing role in global businesses and why inclusiveness is key to staff attraction and retention.
Donna Fujimoto Cole, president and CEO of Cole Chemical, is the chair of the summit. Keynote speakers will include Dr. Terry Grier, superintendent of the Houston Independent School District, and Dr. William V. Flores, president of the University of Houston-Downtown.
The daylong conference will offer workshops on such topics as corporate diversity, maximizing personal potential and global business opportunities.
