|On Monday, May 17 in Houston, Texas, Asian Voice Radio will launch in Houston, Texas on KREH 900 AM with a community reception that kicks off the first broadcast catering specifically to Asian Americans. Attendees will include Asian Voice Radio hosts, contributors, and community supporters. The reception will conclude with on-air remarks from leaders and members of the different Asian communities in Houston.|
Asian Voice Radio was founded for the ethical use of the media in service of cultural exchanges between discreet Asian groups to raise awareness of issues that impact and benefit the overall community.
In honor of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, Asian Voice Radio kicks off by offering a variety of English talk shows from the Asian American perspective:
• Art & Literature
• History & Tradition
• Health & Spirituality
Asian Voice is dedicated to the promotion of Asian American leaders and young professional for the purpose of passing on values, life lessons, and heritage to younger generations as well as educating, informing, and welcoming non-Asians who wish to learn more about the diversity within the Asian community.
