|On Saturday, November 6, 2010 from 10am-5pm, Kim Hung Market in historic "China town, in downtown Houston” will host Houston's Green Business & Natural Health Expo.|
Joining Houston‟s growing „green movement’ will be world famous artist… „Wang XinSheng’. In Support, he will attend the event to paint, and display some of his artistry. His paintings are collected by museums and published in Collection of Chinese Contemporary Artists Masterpieces.
On Oct. 4, 2008, Al Green, member of Congress, presented the Flag of United States of America that was flown over The United States Capital in honor of his Artistic Contribution as a World Renown Master of Art.
Famous collectors of his paintings include: Hillary Clinton, NBA superstar Yao Ming, former President, George H.W. Bush and John Holfmeister (Chairman, Shell Oil).
Besides teaching at his own school, Xinsheng Wang also gives public lectures on the understanding & interpretations of Eastern and Western Arts presentations.
Other Green Expo activities includes the „Johnson family’ (“Extreme Makeover” Houston recipients), as they launch their “Extreme Green Youth Anti-Obesity Program".
Former NBA and Hall of Famer, Elvin Hayes and former NFL Super Bowl Champ, Robert Hubble will sign autographs as well as present their natural health products. Houston Dynamo staff will be on hand to give away prizes from 10am to 12pm.
At 11:30am Council Member James Rodriquez will speak on the importance of „going green‟ in Houston, along with other guest speakers and live entertainment. Electric cars will also be on site for test driving.
