|Could humanoid robots and vehicles that hover above ground, once limited only to the fantasy worlds of Star WarsTM, become a reality? Beginning Saturday, June 18, The Health Museum will host an innovative exhibit, Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination. The exhibit, which will be on display in Houston for the first time, explores the futuristic technologies depicted in the Star Wars films, the real science behind them, and the research that may someday lead to real-life versions of the technologies seen in the film series. The exhibit also features props and costumes from all six Star Wars films. Plus, visitors can experience a simulated ride in a full-size replica of the Millennium Falcon cockpit!|
Tickets will go on sale for museum members on March 1 and will extend to the general public on March 14. For more information about the exhibit, special events, online ticket sales and more, visit www.thehealthmuseum.org/starwars
