Mayor Annise Parker announces
Information Sessions for New Small Business Program Starting Soon!
Houston Community College is proud to present the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Initiative which was announced February 24 by Mayor Parker to help small businesses in the Greater Houston area grow and create jobs. 10,000 Small Businesses is a $500-million, 5-year initiative to unlock the economic growth and job-creation potential of small businesses across the United States through greater access to business education, financial capital, and business support services. Small business owners selected to participate in the Houston Community College 10,000 Small Businesses education program will receive a full scholarship covering tuition and program materials. Participants will also receive one-on-one business advising and will engage in diverse business networking opportunities.
