|APAHA (www.apaha.org ) along with Interfaith Ministries of Houston (www.ifmh.org ) have organized a unique bus tour to various places of worship and a tour of China Town on Saturday March 12th, 2011.|
Responding to inquiries from various people, APAHA has collaborated with Interfaith Ministries to bring this opportunity which allows sightseeing guided tour of parts of Mahatma Gandhi District, China town along with visit to the following places of worship: Asian Baptist Church. BAPS Hindu Temple, Maryam Masjid and Vietnamese Buddhist Temple.Boxed lunch will be served during the tour. The tour will commence at 9AM and should end around 3PM at Hillcroft.
The organizers are excited that the bus will provide so many exposures in one short visit and provide the participants with a macro perspective of the uniqueness of each faith and the diversity of religion practiced by the Asian & Pacific Americans of Houston including a visit to the famous China Town of Houston. An ideal Saturday outing for individuals of every age.
