ENTERTAINMENT Freedom Over Texas, Houston's Official July 4th Celebration, will celebrate America's Birthday with live concerts from Rodney Atkins, Chris Young and Jack Ingram, and a "Texas Sized" fireworks display!

This fun-filled family celebration will keep toes tapping with the diverse musical sounds of today's America including; pop, country, zydeco, latino, jazz, adult contemporary, classic rock, and rhythm & blues. Other attractions include The Freedom Market, The Bud Zone featuring the Texas Volleyball Championship, and The All-American Kid's Zone featuring free rides and attractions for the kids. A special highlight is Liberty Park, Symbols of Freedom, which offers the unique opportunity to experience displays of military artifacts and vehicles, voting booth demonstrations, the Printing Museum of History, and much more!
