The 37th Annual Texas Renaissance Festival (www.texrenfest.com), the largest and most acclaimed Renaissance festival in the nation, will open the Royal Gates to the public for 8 magically themed weekends this fall from October 8 through November 27, 2011. The highly anticipated festival will take place Saturdays, Sundays and Thanksgiving Friday, spanning a total of 17 days, offering patrons a variety of new attractions and performances along with 8 themed villages featuring a variety of international feasting options, more than 500 costumed performers and hundreds of shows each day! The 2011 Texas Renaissance Festival themed weekends include: Oktoberfest (Oct. 8-9), 1001 Dreams (Oct.15-16), Pirate Adventure (Oct. 22-23), All Hallows Eve (Oct. 29-30), Roman Bacchanal (Nov. 5-6), Highland Fling (Nov. 12-13), Barbarian Invasion (Nov. 19-20) and a special three-day closing weekend celebration, Celtic Christmas (Nov. 25-27).

WHO: The Texas Renaissance Festival (TRF) is the Nation’s largest and most acclaimed Renaissance theme park where the sights, sounds, tastes and beauty of the 16th Century come alive for eight magically-themed weekends.
