|(HOUSTON, TX) – Santa Claus will take a break from his pre-Christmas duties at the North Pole to join Sheriff Adrian Garcia and employees of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) on Wednesday for the HCSO’s annual toy delivery to the Children’s Assessment Center (CAC).|
The toys will be delivered in an 18-wheeler and cargo truck preceded by a caravan with Santa, Sheriff Garcia, the HCSO Mounted Patrol, and other members of the Sheriff’s Office.
Every year, and for the past 17 years, the men and women of the HCSO have provided some relief to Santa and his elves by purchasing and delivering thousands of toys to the center. The toys are destined for clients of the CAC, whose mission is to provide a professional, compassionate, and coordinated approach to the treatment of sexually abused children and their families and to serve as an advocate for all children in our community.
Please come and witness the spirit of holiday giving HCSO-style!
