Houston Mayor Annise Parker will join festival host Jewish Family Service and its Alexander Institute for Inclusion, lead sponsor TIRR Memorial Hermann, the Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities and other corporate and community partners to kickoff ReelAbilities: Houston Disabilities Film Festival 2013. The mission of the festival is to promote public awareness and appreciation of the lives, stories and artistic expressions of individuals with disabilities. The festival will feature 15 films in 7 languages, talks and art exhibits at community venues throughout the city.
