About the Houston Asian American Archive
The Houston Asian American Archive (HAAA) is a collaborative research project engaging members of the Rice University faculty, staff, students as well as those of the Houston community. The multi-year HAAA project involves collaboration with community members, curriculum development in Asian American studies, and the on-going collection of oral histories and material artifacts of Asian Americans’ for careful preservation and use by community members and research scholars alike. "Houston's Hermann Park: A Century of Community"
All events are free and open to the public. They take place on the first floor of the Houston Public Library’s Julia Ideson Building, 550 McKinney St., 77002 (downtown). Parking is available underneath the adjacent Jones Building accessed from Lamar Avenue, or on the street. Vouchers for parking in the HPL garage will be available at the meeting.
