要想合格申請美國公民，你必須:
滿十八嵗或者以上 獲得永久居民滿五年（跟美國公民結婚滿三年）已經連續身在美國滿五年 有美國歷史和美國政府的知識和明白能讀、寫和說英語語言有良好的道德品質

完成 N-400 歸化申請拍攝必需的照片與移民律師協商獲得申請費的匯票（money orders）
需要的文件和資料:
合法的永久居民卡，德州駕照或者身份證，社會安全卡變成合法美國永久居民之後，進出美國的日期配偶資料：姓名，社會安全號，生日，法律文書，永久居民號（如果有的話），和結婚日期最近五年的居住資料和雇用資料如果你有孩子，請提供姓名，生日，法律文書，永久居民號（如果有的話），和地址$400 費用 (申請費$330，$70 打指模費) 要和申請一起郵寄

Legal permanent resident card, Texas driver’s license or Texas ID, and Social Security CardDates of entry and exit of the U.S. since becoming a legal permanent residentSpouse information: name, Social Security number, date of birth, legal, permanent resident number (if applicable), and date of marriageInformation on your residency and employment for last 5 yearsIf you have children, provide names, date of birth, legal, permanent resident number (if applicable), and addresses$400 fee ($330 for application, $70 for fingerprinting fee) that will be mailed with application
