Purpose:
1. Provide first-hand academic experiences of distinguished speakers to Chinese students in Texas.
2. Provide advices and insights into academic career development in the U.S. or/and China.
3. Provide representative experiences of academic administration to graduate students who want to peruse academic success.

Participants:
Students from TAMU, UT-Austin, Rice and other universities or institutes in Texas. Participants are selected through an application process. Travel compensation is available for students from places other than College Station.

Studded with the brightest stars in Texas area, this first-of-its-kind event is designed to provide the public with first-hand academic experiences, insights into the development of Chinese and American Academia, expert prediction, and cordial suggestions from distinguished Chinese, who are recognized as ones of the best among the peers and would like to share their knowledge and experience with you. By attending this conference, you will realize that you are not facing your future challenges alone, and it is high time to reach further achievements by　"standing on others' shoulders".
