　　星期六五月十五日下午１点到３点ＭＤ ＡＮＤＥＲＳＯＮ癌症中心的肺癌专家，癌症基因治疗的先驱之一，张玉蛟主治医师将在首都银行二楼的会议室给大家介绍常见肿瘤的早期诊断和早期治疗。

　　张玉蛟现任ＭＤ ＡＮＤＥＲＳＯＮ癌症中心放射治疗科主治医生。张大夫于1９８５年毕业于上海医科大学医学院，１９８８年研究生院毕业。之后他在上海医科大学中山医院任职。１９９０年，他应邀到ＭＤ ＡＮＤＥＲＳＯＮ癌症中心胸外科和心血管外科任研究员。他是肿瘤治疗的前驱之一。他参与了第一个人类被批准的临床肿瘤基因治疗的科研课题并作出了积极的贡献。随后，他加入了德州大学ＭＤ ＡＮＤＥＲＳＯＮ癌症中心研究生院并于1９９７年获肿瘤学博士学位。在芝加哥大学完成肿瘤放疗专科培训以后，张玉蛟医生于２００２年回到ＭＤ ＡＮＤＥＲＳＯＮ癌症中心任胸科肿瘤放射治疗主治医生。他专长于肿瘤放疗，基因治疗，和分子现象的研究，并发表了２０多篇论文和专著。

On May 15, 2004, Dr. Joe Chang is going to give a talk about early diagnosis and early treatment of common cancers. Dr. Chang is an attending physician in the Department of Radiation Oncology, the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He graduated from Medical School,　 Shanghai Medical University in 1985 and Graduate School in 1988. He worked as a physician in Zhongshan Hospital, Shanghai Medical University. In 1990, he was invited as a research fellow in the Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He was one of the pioneers who conducted cancer gene therapy and contributed significantly to the first approved clinical trail for cancer gene therapy. Subsequently he joined the Ph.D. cancer biology program in 1993 and obtained his Ph.D. from MD Anderson Cancer Center in 1997. He then moved to Chicago for further clinical training in the field of radiation oncology. He went back to MD Anderson Cancer Center as attending physician and tenure track faculty member in the Department of Radiation Oncology in 2002. He is specialized in the thoracic malignancies. His expertise is radiation therapy, genes therapy and molecular imaging in cancers. He has published more than 20 papers including book chapters in these fields.

In this lecture, Dr. Chang is going to discuss about the early diagnosis and early treatment of common cancers including lung, prostate, breast. He will answer questions related the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancers.
